Qualitymanagement/Qualityassurance in Upper-Austrian cathlabs

Development and implementation were done in a pilot-project in 2006/2007 in Upper Austria

These were the goals:

1. Inquiry of the current situation in the 5 catha-labs in Upper Austria. During this step working-instructions/standards from all centres were collected and evaluated
2. It has been the declared goal to develop joint recommendations in order to present them to the nucleus and, in a further step, to decied about endorsement of these recommendations.
3. The Upper Austrian qualitymanagement has written down the following: 
   
   
   • Preparation of patients
   • inguinal shaving
   • patient transfer
   • manual for staff interviews
   • documentation of nursing
