All colleagues interested in cardiovascular research are cordially invited to submit their scientific work to the annual meeting of the Austrian Society of Cardiology.

Abstracts can be submitted both in German as well as in English. Abstracts that have been submitted to an internaional congress in 2011/2012 may be submitted as well. However, abstracts that have been presented in Austria may not be submitted.

Due to technical restrictions submission of abstracts is possible from the german website only. Therefore, please switch to the german website if you intend to submit your abstract (simply click on the Austrian flag in the upper right corner, then on "Neues Abstract").

Abstracts for the annual meeting 2012 can be submitted in the following categories (German name of category is given here, translation is given in parenthesis):

• Basic Science (basic sceince)
• Bildgebung (imaging)
• Chirurgie (surgery)
• Cardiomyopathien (cardiomyopathies)
• Diverses (various)
• Herzinsuffizienz (heart failure)
• Interventionelle Kardiologie (interventional cardiology)
• Koronare Herzkrankheit, chronisch (stable coronary artery disease)
• Pulmonale Hypertension (pulmonary hypertension)
• Risikofaktoren/Stoffwechsel/Lipide (risk factors/metabolism/lipids)
• Rhythmologie (heart rhythm)
• Gefäßbiologie (vascular biology)
• Vitien (heart defects)

Submission of abstracts is free of charge.

Abstracts can be submitted either in German or in English language.

PLEASE NOTE: Submission AFTER the END of the submission periode (9.3.2012, 23h59) is IMPOSSIBLE!

How to submit?

Abstracts can be submitted online only.

What is necessary for submission?

You will need your login-data (emailaddress and password; in case you forgot your password please click on "Abstracts - login - Forgot your password", your account details will be sent to you by email) and, for your co-authors, further data are requested.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need email-addresses for every single co-author listed on your abstract. Please have them at hand. Entering of data for a co-author is requested only once.

Due to technical reasons buffering of your abstract to proceed later is not possible. 

Form and size of online submission:

• maximum 3500 characters (including space characters)
• images or tables in jpeg, gif and png

You may work on your submitted abstract allover the submission period or may delete it as well. Furthermore, you may change/add/delete co-authors during this period.

All abstracts submitted will be handed over to four graders anonymously.

During the annual meeting 2012 the best abstracts will be awarded.
